Jonny King pattern that was originally developed for Baja Roosterfish and Dorado. I have tied the Black and Purple and Black and Black and Red (Black Death) especially for tarpon in Ascension Bay and Belize. Turned out to be very effective pattern for both of these locations and now have replaced the EP baitfish patterns in my fly box.

I tie these flies on the Gamakatsu SL12s Big Game Hook in size 1/0, 2/0 or 4/0. This is hook was specifically designed for big gamefish that has superb penetration as well as being very strong.

Fly length is as follows by hook size: 1/0 (3.5"), 2/0 (4.0"), 4/0 (5.75")
